Indian Life Magazine Banquet, Winnipeg MB
It has been a week or two now since we’ve returned from our trip to Canada. We had been invited to be the keynote speakers at the Indian Life Magazine Annual Banquet which was held on October 26, 2024 at The Meeting Place in Winnipeg, MB. We were nervous and excited. But God gave us grace and peace and we had an incredible time. Thank you to Todd and Krystal Wawrzyniak for the wonderful hospitality.
We shared our story of how God moved miraculously to save and restore our home and marriage. We shared how God has changed both of our hearts and how Derek has been undergoing an incredible transformation from a life of religion and pornography. Many came forward afterward to share how touched and blessed they were by the honesty and openness. We know God is doing a work in His body through this testimony.
Dozens of Teach Me To War and Rise Up My Beloved were acquired by the attendees and we pray that this will bring forth a harvest for the Lord.

Chief Cornerstone Church, Winnipeg MB
The next morning we shared a brief testimony at the church of Derek’s former pastor. Pastor Derrick and Myrtle Anderson were our gracious hosts at Chief Cornerstone Church in Winnipeg MB. Again many lives were touched and copies of both books were obtained by many members of the church.

Encounter Life Ministries, Winnipeg MB
That afternoon, we also gave our testimony at Encounter Life Ministries in Winnipeg, MB. Pastor Marty and Rose McLean warmly welcomed us to minister and share what God had done in our lives. And once again, the Lord ministered healing to the hearts of many in the audience that afternoon. Many people came forward for prayer. After the time of ministry was over copies of the books were claimed by many for themselves and as a gift for others they knew.

Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, Cochrane Ontario
We made our way east from Manitoba where we arrived in Cochrane, Ontario, to minister for Pastor Ernie Linklater and his lovely wife, Shirley. They were our former pastors and it was a real joy and pleasure to see them once again. With only a few copies of the books left, we knew we would be heading home empty-handed but having planted many seeds for a harvest along the way.
